Schultz Family in Tanzania

My name is BJ Schultz, I am a missionary in Tanzania Africa and this blog is a record of my missionary adventures.

I am married and have four children. (See pictures here) Our family moved to Africa in January of 2007. We went to language school for 5 months in Kenya and then moved to Moshi Tanzania to begin our work of church planting.

What is church planting? Simply stated we go to needy areas and begin new Baptist Churches. We disciple the new Christians and train those whom God calls to become pastors. The main goal is to spread the gospel as far and wide as possible while maintaining doctrinal purity.
