My Testimony

I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, and was saved when I was thirteen. Two years later while attending summer camp at the Wilds of the Rockies, I surrendered my life completely to my Savior. God began developing in my heart a desire for missions through the missions conferences at Pensacola Christian College and through two short-term missions trips to the Ivory Coast and Uganda. I spent four years teaching at Licking County Christian Academy in Heath, Oh, and absolutely loved it!...and yet I knew that God had something else for me. While attending Camp Bimi, God confirmed to my heart His calling for me toward missions. In the fall of 2006 I traveled to Mwanza, Tanzania, to visit the Brouwers and the Wagoners. What amazing opportunities!! The living conditions of the Tanzanians are upsetting, but the spiritual conditions couldn't be better! The missionaries of the past few decades have been planting and watering many seeds. The fields are ripe unto harvest!! I am excited about returning to Tanzania to join the efforts there to "make disciples" through evangelism and discipleship, for He truly is worthy!
